About Sarah

Meet Sarah — a fully qualified and approachable music teacher based in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Sarah holds a BA (Hons) in Music/Music Technology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with QTS, making her fully qualified to teach music in schools up to A-Level. She currently teaches classroom music alongside peripatetic piano lessons at Lancaster Royal Grammar School, where she keeps her Safeguarding training and DBS clearance regularly updated. She is also a member of EPTA UK - the European Piano Teachers Association.

Her lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals — whether they're aiming for exams or simply playing for fun.

Sarah offers tuition in:

• Piano – ABRSM Grade 8, with the Lloyd Hartley Memorial Prize for Pianoforte

• Violin – ABRSM Grade 8

• Plus lessons in Music Theory, Improvisation, Composition, and Performance Coaching

Sarah combines professional experience with a friendly, encouraging approach that helps students of all levels grow in confidence and creativity.
